    Why New Zealand

An education destination with quality you can verify

Four facts from official New Zealand sources — education first.

    Government-assured quality

New Zealand has strong quality-assurance systems across public and private education, and every qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework carries an assurance of quality recognised worldwide.

    Globally recognised qualifications

Through the Lisbon and Tokyo Recognition Conventions, New Zealand certificates, diplomas and degrees are recognised in more than 50 participating countries.

Universities in the world’s top 2%

All eight New Zealand universities rank within the top 2% of universities worldwide, according to the QS rankings cited by Education New Zealand.

    Practical, future-focused learning

Students are supported to solve problems, think critically and creatively, and gain hands-on, employer-relevant skills — the approach that defines New Zealand education.

    Work while you study

Many international students on a Fee Paying Student Visa may be able to work part-time up to 25 hours a week while studying and full-time during scheduled holidays, depending on their visa conditions. Ask at the event how this applies to your chosen programme.

    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

    Is the event free?

Yes. Attendance is free. We recommend registering in advance because places are limited.

    Who can attend?

Anyone interested in studying in New Zealand — school students, university students, graduates and parents. Register each attendee separately so we can prepare enough seats.

What can I learn at the event?

How New Zealand’s education system is structured; which universities, colleges and programmes you can consider — Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, university pathways and career-focused programmes; entry requirements and English language expectations; intakes and timelines; and how MultiPath Expert supports your application.

Which study options will be discussed?

Bachelor’s and Master’s study at New Zealand universities, including the University of Auckland, AUT and Victoria University of Wellington; foundation pathways to those universities delivered by UP Education; and career-focused programmes at Yoobee College of Creative Innovation, NZMA, New Zealand Tertiary College, Healthcare Academy of New Zealand and New Zealand School of Tourism. You can also ask about other New Zealand study options.

I already have a Bachelor’s degree. Is the event relevant for Master’s study?

Yes. Master’s applicants usually apply directly to the university, and entry depends on your degree, grades and English level. The MultiPath team can explain the requirements for your chosen programme and discuss your options if you do not yet meet them.

Is university entry guaranteed after a foundation programme?

Each partner university offers guaranteed entry to eligible undergraduate programmes for students who successfully complete its foundation programme and meet the stated conditions — the required grade average, the English-language level and any programme-specific requirements. The representative can explain the conditions for the degree you have in mind.

Can I work while I study in New Zealand?

Many international students on a Fee Paying Student Visa may be able to work part-time up to 25 hours a week while studying and full-time during scheduled holidays, depending on their visa conditions. Conditions are set by Immigration New Zealand and may change, so ask at the event how they apply to your programme.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nothing is required. If you would like personalised guidance on entry requirements, bring your latest academic transcripts or certificates and any English test results you already have.

    Where is the event?

At the Grand Hotel Tien-Shan Almaty, Bogenbai Batyr Street 115, Almaty 050000. The MultiPath Kazakhstan team will confirm your place and can help with directions.

    Can parents attend?

Yes, parents are very welcome. Many families attend together to ask questions about programmes, costs and student support.
